How to redeem voucher codes (ANDROID)

Instructions for Android device users
Here you will find a description of how to redeem a voucher code for a subscription to the uVida app.

STEP 1: Google Play Store - Set up payment method
  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your cell phone
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Select the "Payments and subscriptions" section
  4. Go to "Payment methods" and select the payment method you want to set up
  5. Enter your payment information and complete the setup
Important: This step is required to redeem the voucher code!

STEP 2: Install the uVida app and log in
  1. Download the uVida app from the Google Play Store: uVida App
  2. Log in to the uVida app (if you already have an account) or register

STEP 3: Redeem the voucher code
  1. Open profile settings in the app by clicking on the profile picture at the top right
  2. Select "Subscriptions" in the settings
  3. Select "start now"
  1. Select the correct subscription period according to the voucher (3, 6 or 12 months)
  2. Then select "Let's go"

  1. Click on the payment method in the window that opens, as marked in the screenshot

  1. Scroll down and select "Redeem code"

  1. In the next step, enter the code and click "Redeem"
  2. After entering the code, follow the further steps (depending on the payment method stored in the Google Play Store, e.g. TAN entry)
The PREMIUM function is now activated in the uVida app.


STEP 4: End automatic renewal of the subscription or cancel subscription
  1. Open the Google Play Store 
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner 
  3. Select "Payments & subscriptions"
  4. Select "Subscriptions"
  5. Click on uVida subscription
  6. Click on "Cancel subscription" at the bottom


Important note: This is a subscription that is automatically renewed after expiry.
After step 4, the subscription will no longer be automatically renewed and will only run until the specified date.
