Pulse sensor is not displayed in the app - what can I do?

Put on the heart rate belt correctly: 
1. Moisten the electrodes of the belt with water. 
2. Attach the transmitter unit to the elastic strap.
3. Place the strap around the chest and adjust it so that it fits tightly. 
4. Make sure the moistened electrodes lie flat on the skin.

Establish a connection between the app and the pulse sensor:
1. Open the uVida app and start the Acitvity analysis. Go to the preparation step "Pairing the heart rate belt". At this point, the pulse sensor is displayed if the connection is established.
2. Select the heart rate belt by clicking on the serial number. The connection is established automatically. After this step, you will see the heart rate displayed at the bottom of the screen. 

ERROR RESOLUTION: Heart rate belt is not displayed in the app

Possible error causes:
  1. Battery of the heart rate belt is empty: Change the battery of the heart rate sensor. Instructions: CAN I CHANGE THE BATTERY ON MY POLAR DEVICE?
  1. Check the Bluetooth settings of the technical device (e.g. tablet, smartphone): Check the Bluetooth setting in the system settings of your technical device. Bluetooth must be switched on.
  1. Disconnect from other technical devices: Disconnect the connections to other devices (e.g. treadmills, heart rate monitors, other apps) and try to pair the heart rate belt with the uVida app again. To do this, close the uVida app and start a new analysis.
  1. If possible, test whether the heart rate sensor works with other compatible applications or devices.
